The Past Week…

It’s been a pretty busy week.

A lot of people have been asking where I’m working or what I’m up to career wise. I’m currently taking nursing contracts in local hospitals. Some are on the med surg floor, some are just ER, but mostly covering maternity leaves and short staffing. I’m kind of like my own staffing agency.

Unfortunately, the way my schedule falls I work the entire Easter weekend so Craig is on Easter duty. He took them to an Easter egg hunt in town this morning and then headed to the in-laws for Easter dinner and he will take them to my mom’s for Easter dinner.

I did get to dye Easter eggs with Carver and Gannon which was nice to just have a “big kid” activity for the boys. Gannon of course had to wear his cowboy hat.

Anders got his adenoids out on Thursday, he gets chronic sinus infections. His nose is almost always running thick green boogers on top of several ear infections. This is pretty typical for my boys. Carver and Gannon both got their adenoids out and their symptoms improved significantly. Anders was my youngest to get ear tubes (9 months) and now youngest to get adenoids out (18 months). I just know now what to look for and what to ask for so things moved quickly. He did great with the surgery. He’s such a ham, look at these pictures I got.

On Wednesday, I got to hang out with my dear friend Gabe. She came along to be a guest on our podcast, Thirty, crying and trying to discuss her like as a DINK (dual income no kids) and we also did an episode discussing how to maintain adult friendships. That episode will be coming out in a few weeks.

Anyway, that’s all I have to report for now. I hope you have a Hoppy Easter!

I have a niece who is a self employed dental hygienist who works like you do. She loves it. It looks like the boys had fun dying eggs with you. It’s nice to have special times with each of the kids.

Hope Anders is continuing to get better. Sounds like Easter was a fun day for all, coloring eggs & egg hunting. Adult friendships are a treasure and worth maintaining.

good to hear from you. I do believe Anders is going to be a mini Craig size wise. The journey t this point with Gannons challenges has been interesting but with all of it he has been a treasure to get to know on your mothers blog. Too bad Carver is not with her and we are not as up to date with his mature kindness that came through with Grandma Joeys writings.

Your life continues to be busy, but so good to hear from you again. That Anders guy is a little cutie, as are his big brothers. Oh, coloring Easter eggs looks so fun. Something I miss helping kids or grands do, but too far away, but I have good memories of doing it.
